The address stays stable. The destination, access and publication status can change.
Does changing the destination break the link?
No. The public URL and QR code stay fixed; only where it opens changes. That is the core of the product.
Why does my link show a paused page?
A paused link intentionally stops redirecting so visitors see a clear message instead of a dead URL. Reactivate it from the same card.
Where is my branded domain?
Connect it in Domains. Until DNS verification completes, urlpivot.app keeps serving the same slug so nothing breaks. One CNAME to domains.urlpivot.app. On Cloudflare, use DNS only (grey cloud).
How do I connect an agent?
Settings → Agent access issues a workspace token. Point any MCP HTTP client at https://urlpivot.app/api/agent/mcp. The machine-readable contract is /llms.txt. Agents cannot publish DNS or open billing.
When does my sponsor profile become public?
After an eligible contribution, payment confirmation and review. An associated Page has its own publication and showcase review steps. Follow the available status in the Sponsor Center.
What happens to analytics when I delete a link?
Deletion erases the route and its events and the slug cannot be reused. Pause instead if you may need it back.
How do I cancel a paid plan?
From the billing portal inside your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; public links keep working while the plan is active.
How is visitor privacy handled?
Clicks are counted without storing raw IP addresses. Human traffic, bots and previews stay separated.
